The backend you don't have to build.
ScoreKit provides seamless, real-time leaderboards and achievements for indie games. Think of us as your out-of-the-box Backend-as-a-Service (BaaS). We handle the databases, secure the APIs, and manage the server infrastructure so you can focus entirely on your gameplay loop.
Blisteringly Fast
Backed by a robust Upstash Redis caching layer. Your players won't even notice the game is fetching data from the cloud.
Drop-in SDK
No messy networking code. Drop in our Unity C# SDK, configure your keys, and let it handle the complex networking securely under the hood.
Bulletproof Control
Automate season rollovers, monitor API usage, and rely on built-in anomaly detection (anti-cheat) securely from your developer dashboard.
Write less code. Build more games.
We stripped out all the boilerplate. The ScoreKit SDK handles the headers, the Coroutines, and the error logging under the hood. You just tell it what to send and what to get back.
// 1. Submit a new high score in a single line
ScoreKit.SubmitScore("global_high_score", playerName, score, (success) =>
{
if (success) Debug.Log("Score posted!");
});
// 2. Fetch the top 10 players just as easily
ScoreKit.GetTopScores("global_high_score", 10, (success, jsonResponse) =>
{
if (success) ParseAndDisplay(jsonResponse);

Built for indies, by indies.
We know what it takes to ship a game. ScoreKit was born out of the pure frustration of wrestling with bloated backend configurations when all we really wanted to do was track a few high scores and get back to making games.
Small, Agile, and Focused on the Craft
We operate exactly like the game studios we protect. As a small, tightly-knit group, we don't have layers of corporate red tape, investor-driven agendas, or rigid roadmaps holding us back. If the indie community needs a specific feature to shield their game from exploits or make their workflow smoother, we pivot and deploy it immediately.
Our baseline philosophy is that database architecture shouldn't be a roadblock. It shouldn't take days of reading dense documentation just to post an integer or secure an achievement rollout. We handle the heavy lifting—the Redis caching clusters, secure Row-Level database policies, and global scaling infrastructure—so you can pour your energy straight into your game's core loop.
Whether you are hacking together a weekend game jam prototype or scaling up the infrastructure for a viral 1.0 launch, we're building the toolset to ensure your backend remains completely invisible.
Meet the Core Crew
In the spirit of absolute transparency, ScoreKit isn't run by a massive office building. It's built by one human developer and three highly opinionated cats, each managing a critical pillar of production.
